Last update: February 12, 2025
This collection used to be about the Porsche 956 and 962 only. I changed it into Jägermeister Prototypes February 2025 and even added some Formula 1 and 2 racers.
1973 Interserie Hockenheim, Porsche 917/30 turbo. Vic Elford started only once in the Interserie, the European version of Can-Am. He drove an evolution version of the Porsche 917/10; the car had a 917/30 chassis number but was lacking the aerodynamic changes and 5.4 litre engine. The car was entered by Motorsport Club Stuttgart but was actually a works entry. At Hockenheim Elford won the 2nd heat after he finished second in the first one.

The Porsche 956 was the ideal car for the group C regulations. When Porsche first brought it to Le Mans in 1982, they scored a convincing 1-2-3 finish. Porsche had many customer teams and these could buy 956’s also from 1983. Walter Brun was one of them.
1984 Imola 1000km, Porsche 956B. Walter Brun took over the team from GS Tuning in 1983. He renamed the team to Brun Motorsport and continued the first year with the cars that GS raced before. This is a 956 with an additional front spoiler as used by the Canon team the first time at Brands Hatch. The sideways drifting picture I took in the old bus stop chicane at Spa-Francorchamps 1984.
