The PlayStation is a home video game console developed and marketed by Sony Computer Entertainment. It was released in Japan in December 1994, followed by North America and Europe in September 1995. The console became very popular because of the realistic racing games that could be played on it. A wonderful reason to start sponsoring motorsports.
Remarkable: Except for the Dakar car of Jutta Kleinschmidt, Playstation always supported French teams:
Larbre, Belmondo, Oreca, Pescarolo, Peugeot, Signatech, Loeb ….
