Aston Martin
1977 Le Mans 24h, Aston Martin DBS V8. This very exotic Aston Martin V8 was developed by Robin Hamilton and started its competition career already in 1974 as a group 4 car. The team narrowly qualified on the last row but finished Le Mans in 17th position and took 3rd in GTP behind an Inaltera (Rondeau) and WM.

1972 Nürburgring 1000 km, Porsche 914/6. Eckhard Schimpf was the PR/sponsor manager from Jägermeister. In the early years, a lot of his budget went to Porsche teams from Kremer and Max Moritz. Sometimes he took the wheel himself, such as in the Nürburgring 1000 km race of 1972. Unfortunately, the team wasn’t able to make it to the start. It was the very first car that was owned by Jägermeister Racing and is still in the ’72StagPower Collection.
